Las Vegas, Nevada — Out of concern surrounding rising COVID-19 cases in Clark County, Nev., Spanesi has announced it will be withdrawing from this year’s SEMA Show.
“Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of Spanesi’s customers, distributors, business partners and staff, we have made the difficult decision not to participate in the 2021 SEMA Show,” said Spanesi Americas COO Tim Morgan.
“Given the uptick of COVID-19 cases in Clark County Nevada, the State of Nevada indoor facemask mandate [issued July 30], the prospects of Canada and Europe attendees being prohibited from entering the United States contributing to reduced show attendees, and other influential factors have led to the decision to cancel our participation.
“The SEMA Show is the cornerstone of our marketing activities. We always enjoy greeting our current and new customers every year in our booth. Unfortunately, given our current environment, the decision to withdraw was inevitable,” continued Morgan. “We wish the entire automotive industry health and safety as we all continue to adapt our business operations. Spanesi has been a fixture at the SEMA Show since 2012, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2022.”
Spanesi says that they hope to be back in the SEMA scene by 2022 with a whole new booth and new equipment offerings.
The 2021 SEMA Show is scheduled to run from Nov. 2-5 in Las Vegas, Nev.
