Toronto, Ontario — NOVUS Glass has made Entrepreneur’s Fortune 500 list for 2021. The company was listed at number 101, up from number 140 in 2020.
NOVUS Glass touts 2,013 locations globally. The company was founded in 1972 after Dr. Frank Werner replaced three windshields with small breaks. Werner then teamed up with a chemical engineer, Bill Wiele, to seek a way to repair windshields. Werner partnered with Gerald Keineth in 1972 to patent his windshield repair system and create a business plan. The business was originally called Keinath Inc., but was later renamed to NOVUS–the Latin word for ‘new’.
Fix Network has operated NOVUS Glass’s operations in Canada since Fix Auto World acquired the brand in 2017.
