Toronto, Ontario — October 26, 2017 — The SATAjet 5000 B Sailor was created by Connie Manjavinos, as part of SATA’s 2016 Design Contest.
Originally from Colorado, Manjavinos came second in the competition. Inspired by classic pin up motifs and traditional tattoos, the colourful spray gun was developed in cooperation with graphic designer Bryson Kinslow. The launch of the “Sailor Lady” model will give all SATA fans the chance to own this “beautifully” adorned spray gun.
Manjavinos is also recognized for her global social media fame with ‘Girls Behind The Gun’, an organization that thanks and helps promote all women in the bodywork industry.
The SATAjet 5000 B Sailor is a fully functional gun, which is also suitable for daily use in the paint shop due to its robust and attractive surface treatment.
This special edition spray gun is available in RP (1.2 / 1.2W / 1.3 nozzle sizes) and HVLP (WSB / 1.3 and 1.4 nozzle sizes) technology, as well as with a selection of the RPS disposable cups in all three sizes.
“SATA Canada is very excited to offer the ‘Sailor Lady’ to our customers, it is a limited production model with only 150 allotted for Canada! Drop by our booth at SEMA #10609 North Hall and meet with Connie, the designer of this fabulous special addition SATAjet 5000 B,” said John Turner, General Manager of SATA Canada.
