Aftermarket Ascension: AIA Canada appoints Kathryn Jones as chair of the Young Professionals in the Aftermarket Committee

Toronto, Ontario — The Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada has appointed Kathryn Jones as the new chair of the Young Professionals in the Aftermarket committee.

As a fourth-generation Canadian aftermarket professional, Jones’ passion for the industry goes back to her family’s jobber store and eventually led her to Georgian College, where she graduated with a Business Administration Diploma in Automotive Marketing. She continued her education at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Aftermarket Management.

After graduation, Jones gained experience in outside sales working in the oil industry, but she returned to the automotive aftermarket in 2016 as district sales manager Tenneco—now known as DRiV.

Jones has been an active member of the Young Professionals in the Aftermarket committee and looks forward to building on this as the new chair. Jones will serve as chair for a two-year term.
