Halifax, Nova Scotia — June 14, 2017 — Fix Auto Canada has announced an expansion in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The announcement was made by Paul Randles, General Manager of Fix Auto Atlantic Canada.
Fix Auto Charlottetown, formerly known as City Collision Services, is owned and operated by Paul Gaudet. “Fix Auto is recognized as a global company with a high set of standards for vehicle repairs, operations and marketing. The brand looks to deliver consistency from shop to shop,” said Gaudet. “Our facility has always strived to provide the best customer experience with a very high standard of repair and ethics. This has contributed to our growth and becoming a partner with Fix Auto aligns with our high standards which I believe will propel our growth even further.”
Gaudet and his family have served their community for almost 45 years. He entered the autobody business after graduating from high school, joining his father and two brothers in June 1973. He purchased the shop from his father in 1988. Gaudet says his drive and sense of accomplishment come from seeing cars coming in completely wrecked and leaving fully restored.
Randles says he recognizes the important role that passion and the promise of superior customer care have played in allowing Gaudet and his family to build their name and reputation over the years.
“They have stayed current with equipment, training and technology,” Randles says. “We are confident that they will be leaders for innovation here in the east coast. Paul is determined to stay current with the industry. His speed at adopting the Fix Auto brand at shop level and communicating his new name within his community has been exceptional. We share the same values and beliefs, and I am excited for the work we will do together.”
For his part, Gaudet confirms that he plans on growing his business under the Fix Auto umbrella. “The Fix Auto banner emphasizes a high regard for ethics, repair and marketing,” he says. “This makes them a great fit and partner for our company. We have constantly invested in new equipment as well as operating and repair procedures to restore today’s vehicles to tomorrow standards. When it comes to the collision repair industry, we always aim to be ahead of the curve.”
