Toronto, Ontario — October 31, 2018 — The opening day of SEMA wrapped up with the Automotive Industry Association of Canada’s (AIA) annual gathering of the Canadian automotive aftermarket industry. Canadian flags were hanging at Las Vegas’s Caesars Palace for Canada Night and Collision Repair was in attendance.
Canada Night draws more than 1,000 people from across the industry. This year’s event also had more than 80 sponsors, including Canadian automotive organizations such as 3M Canada, AkzoNobel Coatings Ltd, and BASF Canada. It turned out to be the perfect night for Canadians in the industry to network with colleagues and customers while enjoying great food, drinks and Canadian camaraderie.
Day one of the iconic show was filled with lots of new product announcements, unveilings and celebrity sightings. On day two, the top 40 builders in SEMA’s Battle of the Builders competition were announced. Later this week the finalists will be judged to announce the winner. See all 40 finalists here.
Also of note, later this week, unique and customized vehicles from the 2018 SEMA Show will gather and be accessible to the public on Friday outside the convention centre as the SEMA Cruise concludes at SEMA Ignited.
The event will give consumers a rare opportunity to collect and share images of hundreds of customized vehicles featuring the newest and most innovative products from the 2018 SEMA Show. The Friday night event will include food trucks, music, entertainment, drifting, automotive celebrities, builders and more.
