Ottawa, Ontario — Tow truck operators–where’s the weirdest place you’ve had to fish a driver out of?
Fire crews in Ottawa may have your story beat after a driver managed to send their car catapulting into the forest in the wee hours of Friday morning.
The driver was reportedly rescued after their car hurdled 30 metres into the forest and ended up hanging from some trees.

Firefighters called upon chainsaws and rescue jacks–and even chained it to some nearby trees for support, like a bodyman in the 80s. The jaws of life were used to retrieve the driver, who did not appear to have any severe injuries.
Police did not disclose how the car flew into the mess of foliage in the first place.
