Toronto, Ontario — November 1, 2018 — Mitchell International, Inc., a provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the collision repair industries, announced a milestone of 300,000 repair scans completed using the Mitchell diagnostics system.
They also announced significant enhancements to the Freedom Platform, which helps facilitate the proper and safe repair of vehicles.
The Mitchell diagnostics system was launched in July 2017 and assists insurer, independent appraisers and collision repair facility users. The system operates on all leading vehicle makes and provides both scanning and diagnostic repair capabilities-without per-vehicle transaction fees.”Integration of diagnostics into the entire repair and claims process is a unique and critical aspect of the Mitchell Diagnostics system,” explained Olivier Baudoux, senior vice-president of global product management and marketing for Mitchell.
“The solution combines broad vehicle coverage with a subscription model – delivering a cost-effective and efficient solution to the market,” he said.
For repairers, the system may be used to perform diagnostic repairs in-house, including recalibrations, system resets, and module reprogramming. The recently announced MCS-415 target recalibration system allows repairers to complete target-based recalibrations on many major OEMs, including Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz and others.
