Toronto, Ontario — June 26, 2018 —The Nissan Micra Cup will hold its third outing of the 2018 season this weekend at Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec.
The Quebec track is the very same location the racing league started at back in 2015. Two races will be held over the weekend, with thousands expected to be in attendance.
Cup points leader Olivier Bedard comes into the weekend having won three of the season’s four races. The two time champion will look to hold off his remaining competition in Kevin King. King is the only racer to beat Bedard this season and happens to be the one driver with a chance to pass him in the standings.
The two day event will mark the half-way point of the season and will include a chance for fans to meet their favourite drivers. Canadian Micra owners can attend the event free of charge.
Races get underway at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1:35 p.m. on Sunday.
It will be the league’s first race outside of Ontario this year.
Fans can follow live updates from the track all weekend long on the series’ Twitter account @MicraCup and on Facebook.
