Toronto, Ontario — The Mitchell Diagnostics platform has reached a new milestone, having performed more than 50,000 static and dynamic calibrations since 2021.
In a newsletter published Thursday, Mitchell said the number of calibrations grew exponentially since the launch of the MD-TS21 target system last year, and the number of calibrations completed has nearly doubled since March of this year.
According to Mitchell, the MD-TS21 target system and MD-500 handheld device simplifies dynamic and static calibrations for all major vehicle OEMs, and supports front-facing cameras and radar, prismatic radar and surround view calibration using a gamified user interface.
“Vehicles are so much more difficult to repair today than they were just five years ago, especially as it pertains to ADAS and other complex electronic systems,” said Jack Rozint, senior v-p of repair sales at Mitchell. “With the MD-TS21, repairers can perform ADAS calibrations in-house.”
