Las Vegas, Nevada — November 3, 2014 — Matrix is set to hold its second annual auction, Artists 4 Education, at the 2014 SEMA Show.
In support of the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF), the Quest Automotive brand’s fundraising event will feature custom artwork from artists across the country, on display in Booth 10669.
Throughout the show’s run, spanning Nov. 4 to 7, visitors can watch seasoned industry painters such as Nub of Nub Grafix, Bugs of Bugs Auto Art, Flea, and Counts Kustoms’ Ryan Evans pinstripe various items using Matrix’s new line, FX Series Striping and Lettering Enamels.
Quest Automotive Products President David Brunori says they are hoping to build on the success of last year’s campaign, which collected close to $25,000 for CREF.
“This year we have increased our expectations to $50,000,” he says. “We feel it is our responsibility as industry participants to support CREF whose sole purpose is to raise awareness to the growing shortage of certified technicians entering the collision repair industry.
“We want to continue to grow the Artists 4 Education campaign, which means continuing to involve the artist community, manufacturers, and industry partners.â€

“If we can help one student enter into this growing industry, the mission was a success.†adds Brunori.
Artists 4 Education was created to raise money through fundraising efforts while showcasing the expertise of the automotive industry’s top artists across the country.
