Toronto, Ontario — The Canadian Collision Industry Forum has announced a series of webinars to be released on its website in May.
The first of two webinars, titled Managing Your Supply Chain and Credit During COVID-19, will answer questions like why there have been so many changes to credit accounts, how to respond to these changes, managing COVID-19 changes from a supplier perspective and what may be next when the economy reopens.
Paul Prochilo, CEO of Simplicity Car Care and chair for the Steering Committee will facilitate the discussion, while CCIF Steering Committee members Mike Kaplaniak, vice president of Uniparts O.E.M. Canada; Koos Reineking, Performance Manager, Lift Auto Group and Tifarah Senkow, Canadian Vice President of Sales, Advantage Parts Solutions will serve as panellists.
The webinar will be released on the CCIF website in May.
CCIF is accepting questions to be addressed during the webinar until Apr. 30. Questions can be emailed to info@ccif.ca.
“We face a period of significant disruption and volatility in our businesses and in life overall. The COVID-19 pandemic is changing everything about life and work as we know it,” said CCIF alongside the webinar announcement. “There have been some very disruptive changes recently through supply chain management which can have terribly negative impacts on the collision repair sector. As an industry, we have also questioned how prepared we are in the face of unforeseen pandemics, such as COVID-19.”
Further details on the second webinar, How to Build a Business Continuity Plan for Your Collision Repair Centre, will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
