Toronto, Ontario — Certified Collision Group (CCG) has announced that as of October 28, 2024, Tony McQuillan has joined the organization as the Canadian vice president of sales.

According to a recent press release, McQuillan has more than 35 years of collision repair experience alongside extensive knowledge of OEMs, sales, collision management and technical training.

The press release continues by highlighting how “throughout his career, Tony has consistently demonstrated the ability to develop, communicate and execute initiatives that deliver positive results for the industry. His experience spans across technical to executive leadership.”

Having started his career with Jaguar Land Rover, McQuillan initially operated in both the United States and Canada. This opportunity with Mercedes-Benz led to various leadership roles, where McQuillan developed and implemented several programs benefiting Mercedes-Benz dealerships and collision shops across Canada, said the release.

Additionally, McQuillan’s career includes sales leadership roles with dealer co-ops and distribution companies. He has further led collision training workshops to A-level and government insurance companies, providing in-depth information to both insurers and police accident investigation solutions and electric vehicles.

In response to his new role, McQuillan commented that “I am excited to join the team at Certified Collision Group and utilize my OE and industry experience. With CCGs network being OC-centric and connecting the highest performing shops, I am looking forward to bringing additional value to our current affiliates while expanding our network in the Canadian market.”
