Toronto, Ontario – May 28, 2019 – Maaco, a subsidiary of Driven Brands, will be awarding the owners of Maaco’s master franchisor location in Alberta, Nick, Carm and Walter Mirante with a Centre of Excellence award.
On May 29, attendees from the North American senior leadership Maaco team, local insurance companies, local dealerships, I-CAR representatives, and representatives from Axalta will gather to the Maaco Edmonton location for the award ceremony and the first ever Discovery Day.
North American president of Maaco, Bob Benjamin, will be presenting the Mirante brothers with the Centre of Excellence award because of their high performance.
“With almost three million a year in sales, a state-of-the-art training center and visionary growth plan for Alberta, the Mirante’s have created a unique opportunity for Alberta independent owners to join Canada’s number one body shop,” Maaco stated in a press release.
For the first time in Canada, Maaco will be holding a Discovery Day to create awareness for local or independent collision and paint shops in the province of Alberta to come and learn more about what it is to be a Maaco franchise.
The event will also allow attendees to get a tour of the location’s training facility.
Later this week Collision Repair will be speaking with the Mirante brothers about this achievement and what they have in store for the future.
