Joliette, Quebec — Élisabeth Lambert, general manager of Pièces d’Auto Joliette, has been appointed as chair of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada’s Quebec division committee.
Lambert has served as the committee’s vice president since 2019 and will now head up the role of chair for the province of Quebec, as the first female AIA member to do so.
In her former role in the committee, Lambert represented the interests of aftermarket parts suppliers, while also becoming involved in several subcommittees such as the “I am AIA” committee and the succession committee.
She is also partly responsible for the implementation of the “internship fair” project at the Centre de formation professionnelle de l’Argile in Joliette, Que., according to AIA’s press release.
