Chicago, Illinois — August 31, 2017 — Kent Automotive has added new Fasttt-Grind Ceramic Grinding Discs to its line of professional refinishing products and accessories. According to the company, the new line combines the high material removal rates of a grinding wheel with the rapid cutting of a resin fibre disc.
Fasttt-Grind Ceramic Grinding Discs are designed for use on high-speed, right-angle grinders with no back-up pad needed. Kent Automotive says the ceramic grain provides a cooler cut, which in turn means a longer lasting disc.
The new discs are thinner than traditional grinding wheels. A statement from Kent Automotive says they’re up to 70 percent lighter as well, helping to reduce vibration and operator fatigue.
The company says the Fasttt-Grind Ceramic Grinding Discs are designed to work on stainless and carbon steel, weld bead removal, chamfering and beveling, flame-cut steel removal, edge grinding and deburring.
