Toronto, Ontario — June 4, 2019 — The family of the late CIIA executive director John Norris has released information about the public visitation ceremony being held for the collision industry icon who died last week.
Norris, is survived by his wife, Annette, children, Theresa, Richard and Jeffrey, and grandchildren Quinn and Owen. The family is holding an open reception, which will take place on Thursday, June 6, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Cresmount Funeral Home in Hamilton, ON. A private family funeral and cremation will follow after.
He was an active board member for several national industry groups and executive director of non-profit organizations in the automotive sector. Norris was awarded as Hamilton Environmentalist of the Year in 1988 and was known to be an active environmentalist and organizer.
Memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada and Hamilton Conservation Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
