Toronto, Ontario — November 17, 2014 — Discount Car and Truck Rentals recently held its annual Fall Baseball Classic, featuring some of the Toronto Blue Jays Hall of Fame greats.

Industry stakeholders converged on the Jays’ home stadium—the Rogers Centre—on November 10 for some good conversation and a day out on the field.

The festivities kicked off early with a continental breakfast and meet and greet with current Blue Jays President Paul Beeston.

After opening remarks from the Discount team, a presentation followed from Gold Medal Consulting’s Ron Bremner, who himself is no stranger to success in the sports world, having spent 23 years as a broadcaster, leading to his induction into the Canadian Association of Broadcasters’ Broadcast Hall of Fame. Bremner has also held CEO positions with the Calgary Flames and BCTV.

After lunch, attendees hit the field, joined by Jays great and Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar—who won a Gold Glove in each of his five seasons with Toronto, and played on the World Series championship teams of 1992 and 1993. Alomar was also available for autographs and photos throughout the two hour event.

The Discount team thanks all who attended and the company looks forward to next year’s game.
