Toronto, Ontario — The SEMA Show is looking for speakers for its 2020 event this November.
Applications opened this week calling presenters to run informational workshops throughout SEMA at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Speakers will present topics pertaining to current trends, ideas, and discoveries within the automotive aftermarket industry.
Potential speakers at the SEMA Show must choose between a 60-minute or 90-minute workshop duration. They must be able to describe their target audience whether they be of a certain job type or at a certain experience level while still meeting SEMA’s audience of “Automotive small business owners, managers and employees.” As well, applicants must provide the objectives and takeaways their audience will be able to apply to their line of work after attending the seminar.
Final selections will be made by June 2020. While four applications are allowed per speaker, the SEMA team recommends choosing quality over quantity when creating an application to stand out in what they call a “difficult and highly selective process.”
To apply for a speaking position, create a proposal here. The application deadline is Feb. 21.
Interested applicants are encouraged to contact SEMA’s Senior Director of Education Zane Clark at ZaneC@sema.org or at 909-978-6743.
