In the Name of the Next Generation: CARSTAR Don Mor connects with next gen of repairers at Level Up Career Fair

London, Ontario — CARSTAR London Centre (Don Mor) announced its participation at the Level Up Career Fair where it worked to engage with the next generation of professionals in the collision repair industry.

The Level Up event occurred at the Western Fair District in London, Ont. in November, and specifically showcased cutting-edge technology in order to introduce the young professionals in attendance to the opportunities within the automotive repair sector.

According to a recent press release, “the CARSTAR booth quickly became a highlight of the fair, offering an interactive experience that drew the attention of attendees.”

The press release continued by noting that “one of the key attractions during the event was the ‘Guess the Estimate’ challenge, which gave students a fun, hands-on opportunity to test their knowledge on the estimating process.”

In addition, the CARSTAR team offered an up-close look at the advanced technology within a Tesla vehicle, demonstrating the high-tech side of the modern collision repair.

Students in attendance were also given the chance to try their hand at dent repair, as they were guided through the process of banging dents out of a door panel.

In response to the day’s success, Jeff Brown, general manager of CARSTAR London Centre (Don Mor) commented that “participating in the Level Up Career Fair was a fantastic opportunity to show young people just how dynamic and rewarding a career in collision repair can be. The industry is changing rapidly with new technologies and innovations, and it’s important to get students excited about the future. Events like this are key to attracting the next generation of professionals who will help shape the future of our business.”

Collin Welsh, zone director, CARSTAR concluded that “today’s students are tomorrow’s professionals, and it’s vital for us to invest in their education and excitement about the industry. Events like Level Up allow us to directly connect with the future of the collision repair world, offering them a first-hand look at the technology and hands-on skills that will define their careers.”
