In Memoriam: Remember aftermarket veteran Jack Kligman

Burlington, Ontario — The Canadian collision repair community joins together in sending off Jack Kligman, veteran of the automotive aftermarket, who died on  August 18, 2021 at the age of 75.

Jack Samuel Kligman spent more than 35 years in the automotive aftermarket working as National Sales Manager for six equipment manufacturers over his career.

Kligman passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ont., with his wife Harriette Abramson Kligman at his side.

Born in Montreal and a devoted Canadiens supporter, Kligman called Burlington home for many years.

Kligman spent a number of years working as a photographer and in the film industry (in the early 1980s he was the personal photographer for Toronto Maple Leafs owner Harold Ballard) before joining the aftermarket with Wera Tools in 1988.

In addition to his work for manufacturers, he was also active in the aftermarket industry during his career, including serving as chairman of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada’s Suppliers Council from 2003 to 2009.

Kligman had health issues for many years, still his passing was not expected at this time.
