Born into a legacy, Greg was the son of Ron Morton, the founder of Dominion Sure Seal, a Canadian-owned company that has stood as a beacon of trust and innovation in the collision repair industry for 50 years. The Dominion Sure Seal story began in 1972, when Ron Morton, a proud Scotsman, embarked on a mission that would transform the automotive aftermarket. Under Greg’s stewardship, the company celebrated its remarkable 50th anniversary in 2022, continuing a legacy rooted in quality and forward-thinking.
Greg took immense pride in guiding Dominion Sure Seal through a period of substantial growth, particularly in the United States, where the company expanded its market presence with dedicated representatives. He often remarked on the importance of maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, emphasizing the family-oriented culture that has been a cornerstone of the business. “After fifty years, we’re still family-owned,” he would say, highlighting the involvement of both his brother and mother in the company.
During his tenure, Greg demonstrated an unwavering commitment to innovation, recalling how his father was one of the first to supply plastic repair products to the industry in the 1980s. Under Greg’s leadership, Dominion Sure Seal developed groundbreaking products, including the first-ever plastic repair line and the first spray-in liquid bedliner in 1996.
