Toronto, Ontario — August 27, 2019 —The IBIS China conference is set to take place in Shanghai in partnership with Automechanika Shanghai, as a platform for industry experts. The December 4th program aims to focus on heads of the Chinese auto collision repair industry to demonstrate how to adapt to a changing Chinese market — changes including a decrease in new car sales and the introduction of strict environmental registrations.
The conference occurs at a tension-filled point for the automotive industry. It stands as one of the most affected areas of the U.S.-China trade war. Although it is China’s biggest source for exported cars and parts, the U.S. will have its automotive exports tariffed at 25% once more starting in December. How the conference will be affected by superpowers’ relations remains to be seen.
The conference’s worldwide agenda is said to be released soon via IBIS’s social media feed. Delegate packages are on sale now for around $410CAN. Registration can be found on the company’s website or by contacting the IBIS sales executive, Jonny Hyams.
