Munich, Germany — June 11, 2018 — The eyes of the movers and shakers of the collision repair industry are squarely focused on Munich, Germany, where the 2018 International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) has kicked off.
Running until June 13, the event brings together industry stakeholders, insurers and OEM representatives to meet and discuss some of the challenges shared by industry professionals around the world. With ten scheduled presentations and two panel discussions, this year’s agenda is focused around a shared theme – “Challenging Perspectives.”
Following an opening address from IBIS CEO Jason Moseley this morning, DACH and TrustPilot sales director Paul Steele will deliver the first major address of the year. In a speech on customer relations, he will seek to provide an answer to the question ‘Can the customer make the difference?’ Later in the day, Auto Industry Insider director Andrew Marsh will deliver a presentation on the strategies adopted by profitable repairers in the chaotic first decades of the 21st century.
Founded in 2001 by the UK Bodyshop magazine owners Christopher Mann and David Young, the inaugural conference was held in Wales. Since then, IBIS events has been held throughout the world. The 2018 conference is expected to bring in 350 delegates, representing every major market.
