The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium global conferencing platform and the international Automechanika tradeshow brand will be co-ordinating their schedules in order to host concurrent events in China and Germany.
“We are delighted to leverage the Automechanika global footprint for some of our regional events,” IBIS CEO Jason Moseley said. “These events will bring a more targeted and localized message to those markets, as an off-shoot of our industry-leading annual IBIS Global Summit.”
Messe Frankfurt vice president of mobility and logistics Michael Johannes said the new collaboration would allow Automechanika (which is run by Messe Frankfurt) to reach more of the target audience for the tradeshow.
“We are delighted that we can offer our trade fair guests such a prestigious conference focused on paint and bodywork,” Johannes said. “I am certain that this will create valuable synergies for conference and trade fair visitors in Shanghai and Frankfurt.”
For close to two decades, IBIS conferences have brought major figures in the collision sector from around the globe together.
Automechanika’s 2020 Frankfurt event will be the first to include an entire body and paint exhibition hall.
