London, United Kingdom — April 24, 2017 — Trust is the fundamental basis of all relationships. No matter if it’s personal or professional, without trust a good relationship is impossible. That’s why the theme of this year’s IBIS Global Summit 2017 is “The Currency of Trust.” Collision Repair magazine is the exclusive Canadian Media Partner for IBIS 2017.
The digital landscape connecting us all and the rapidly mutating geopolitical climate is bringing change both to how we trust and how we are trusted. Truth and reputation are evolving and the future of collaboration and partnership will be new for everyone.
Leading individuals from the international collision repair industry, including influencers from leading vehicle manufacturers, insurers, bodyshop repairers and suppliers, will come together at the IBIS Global Summit 2017 from June 12 to 14 at the Meliá Castilla in Madrid, Spain.
This year’s conference includes sessions on consolidation, the skills gap, private equity, the customer experience and OEM relationships, as well as speakers from Bosch, Service King, Fix Auto World, Innovation, Caliber Collision Centers and General Motors.
Alex Hunter will serve as one of the keynote speakers at this year’s event. Hunter is a branding and customer experience expert who was part of the founding team behind airline Virgin America. He then joined Virgin Group as the Global Head of Online, overseeing the company’s global digital strategy, including Sir Richard Branson’s personal digital strategy.
Other speakers include Laurence Vivet-Ract, CEO of Southern Europe for Innovation Group and Jeff McFadden, President of Service King. Vivet-Ract will discuss the collision industry’s relationship with private equity, especially regarding how high level investment has affected the bodyshop business and what the future is likely to hold. McFadden will speak on key issues affecting the current market, including the skills shortage and what Service King is doing to lead the way.
Delegate packages for IBIS 2017 are available for £1,885 (approximately $3,256 CAD) and include full access to the Welcome Reception on June 12, access to the full day’s conference on June 13; the International Dinner on the pitch in Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on the evening of June 13, as well as the final half day’s conference and delegates’ lunch on June 14.
