London, United Kingdom — December 2, 2015 — The IBIS Global Summit 2016 aims to build on the success of 2015, delivering more world class presentations and industry leading information to assist delegates in their forward-thinking approach to business and strategy. Collision Repair magazine is the exclusive Canadian media partner for IBIS, the world’s top event for key influencers and thought leaders in collision repair. IBIS 2016 takes place May 23 to 25 at the Hilton Diagonal Mar in Barcelona, Spain.
IBIS will continue to advocate a global need for safety, skills and standards: the three pillars at the core of the IBIS principles, which inform everything that makes up the global collision repair industry’s leading event.
This year’s IBIS promises to be more exciting and informative than ever before. After a successful pilot at the 2015 Global Summit, three roundtable discussions will precede 2016’s conference giving a chance for insurers, vehicle manufacturers and multi-site collision repairers to discuss our industry. Each group will be led by an IBIS Board member. The findings, while anonymous, will feed into a Day 2 session, giving delegates a chance to hear the very latest information from three key sectors of the market.
Consolidation is a major force in today’s collision repair industry. IBIS has also announced that David Smith, VP Supply Chain/Procurement at US collision repair chain Caliber Collision, will discuss the MSO’s journey to becoming a $1.3 billion organisation and how such a business makes buying decisions.
IBIS is possible thanks to the support of its partners: 3M, AkzoNobel, Audatex, EMM, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Fix Auto World, as well as the delegates who continue to take advantage of the huge business opportunities that IBIS creates. Unrivalled in its networking opportunities, the IBIS Global Summit 2016 will provide opportunities for every delegate to explore collaborative avenues and develop new and existing relationships to drive their business, and by extension the industry, forward.
The early bird booking rate of £1,745 (approximately $3,482 CAD) is available until December 18 and includes full access to the Welcome Reception on May 23; access to the full day’s conference, including lunch and breaks, on May 24; the International Dinner on the evening of May 24; as well as the final half day’s conference and delegates’ lunch on 25 May. The price also includes two nights’ accommodation (May 23 and 24) at the Hilton Diagonal Mar.
