Montreal, Quebec — Simplicity Car Care has announced Guy Trottier will be appointed as the Field Conversion Manager for its Quebec locations.
With more than 35 years of experience in the automotive industry and as an I-CAR certified painter and appraiser, Trottier will use his expertise to develop and execute franchisee support and training plans for Simplicity’s locations based in the province of Quebec, said the company.
“As Field Conversion Manager for Quebec, my objective is to support our franchise partners by enhancing their performance and profitability. Our franchisees have a dedicated team that is focused on their success and providing the training they need to stay at the leading edge of the collision repair industry,” said Trottier.
Trottier started his career as a painter for a GM dealership in Ontario. He was eventually promoted to manager of the GM dealership collision centre, where he spent 20 years of his career.
As a graduate from the Automotive Collision Repair program at Algonquin College, Trottier has always been invested in developing himself as a technical specialist in the collision repair industry.
Following his tenure at GM, he spent the subsequent years as an operational specialist for various collision repair networks in Canada, where he was responsible for overseeing a large region of franchise locations.
After serving various roles in the industry, Trottier will now join Simplicity’s team in Quebec.
“I’m excited to be working with the team at Simplicity Car Care and help make a difference in the collision repair industry,” he said.
