Toronto, Ontario – Mercedes-Benz has designated Andreas Tetzloff as President and CEO for its Canada operations.
The new appointment will begin October 1st. Tetzloff is replacing Eva Weise. Weise was recognized as the first female head of Mercedes-Benz. She has changed positions within the company, now having been appointed director (CEO) of Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions.
Tetzloff’s responsibilities will include Mercedes-Bens-AMG(Performance vehicles), Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, and Mercedes-Benz Vans.
Tetzloff’s experience with the company extends back to 1992. He previously worked as commercial director of HR and finance for Mercedes-Benz in Frankfurt, Germany, as well as sales director for the company in Berlin. He also worked for Porsche as Managing Director of the company. This combination of experience proves his dedication to the luxury car industry. He most recently led Mercedes-Benz’ Russian division until March of this year.
The Canadian segment of the company employs 250 employees across Canada, leading a national network of nearly 60 authorized dealerships.
