Toronto, Ontario — January 10, 2019 — Goodyear Tire and Rubber have appointed Gary Vanderlind to the position of senior vice president of Global Human Resources, effective Feb. 1.
Vanderlind, who is the vice president for the company’s Americas region, began his career with Goodyear in 1985, working retail and managing multiple company-owned outlets. His career continued with various Human Resources roles in North America, EMEA and the America’s, as well as corporate and functional roles.

Vanderlind will succeed John Lucas, who is retiring, and will report directly to Kramer.
