Halifax, Nova Scotia — Fix Network has once again pledged its support to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (RMHC Canada) by supporting a golf tournament to raise more than $153,000 for the charity’s initiatives.
Fix Network recently supported the RMHC Golf Classic, held at the Glen Arbour Golf Course near Halifax, Nova Scotia, where the company sponsored two teams of golfers made up of Fix Network employees, franchisees and business partners.
Fix Network’s first sponsored team comprised Larry James Sr. of Fix Auto New Glasgow, Brooke Nichols, manager at Fix Auto Halifax, Colson Cole from Uni-Select, and Jamie Ward, Fix Network’s Strategic Partner Developer. The second team featured Dylan Scammel, owner of Novus Glass Truro, Ken Barter from AkzoNobel, Aaron Hebb, Fix Network’s Regional Sales Account Manager, and Kevin Burgess, owner of Fix Auto Truro.
In total, the tournament helped raise $153,453 that will go toward various RMHC programs across the country—programs that have helped more than 26,000 families stay close to their sick children and the care they need.
According to Fix Network Atlantic regional vice president Mark Weeks, “The golf tournament is an important opportunity for us to support RMHC, whose work makes a positive difference in the lives of thousands of families every day. Our team and our partners continue to believe in our vision and support our efforts through contributions of time and money. Without these committed partnerships, we would not be able to help those who need it most.”
Since 2016, Fix Network, its employees and strategic partners have been closely associated with RMHC Canada.
