Laval, Quebec — UniglassPlus has launched a partnership with Breakfast Club of Canada, a nationwide organization that provides nutritious meals to Canadian children experiencing food insecurity.
For every windshield repaired between Mar. 15 and Apr. 30 this year, Uniglass locations across Canada are donating one nutritious meal to the Breakfast Club of Canada’s mission. According to the charity, more than two million Canadian children start school on an empty stomach–even more given the challenges in food insecurity spurred by the pandemic.
“It is more important than ever for us to be able to count on the support of important partners in the fight against hunger,” said Marie-Ève Desrochers, Senior Advisor of Corporate Partnerships at Breakfast Club of Canada. “The rise of food insecurity across Canada, especially among young children, is of great concern. We are grateful to UniglassPlus for their commitment to helping children reach their full potential thanks to a nutritious breakfast.”
