GFS to showcase REVO at SEMA

The REVO line from GFS uses electric infrared, which cures from the inside out.

Osseo, Wisconsin — October 20, 2015 — Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) will launch the REVO line of accelerated curing systems for the North American collision repair industry at the 2015 SEMA Show. REVO systems use electric infrared technology, which generates short wave energy that cures from the inside out.

According to a statement from GFS, the company recognized the need in the market for a faster, high-quality cure and has introduced the REVO equipment line to meet that need. A press release issued by GFS says the REVO system can improve paint shop throughput up to 80 percent, work within a paint shop’s current footprint and produce high-quality results.

To demonstrate the technology, GFS will show the Speed, Spot and Handheld models from the REVO product line at Booth 11123 at the SEMA Show, taking place November 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. GFS will be exhibiting the latest in paint booth technology along with the REVO accelerated curing systems.

GFS has also teamed up with Axalta Coating Systems to integrate the REVO Speed model into Axalta’s live paint demonstrations. Axalta will demonstrate the REVO Speed in the Axalta “Engineered for Speed” paint booth, a GFS Ultra XR semi-downdraft booth located just outside of the central hall front entrance. Repair technicians and show attendees participating in Axalta’s demonstrations and classes will have the opportunity to see the REVO Speed equipment in action. Registration for Axalta classes can be found at Booth 61009.

“GFS is excited to be featuring the REVO products at SEMA. We carefully researched accelerated curing technology before deciding to bring the REVO brand to North America,” says Brandon Lowder, GFS Vice President of Auto Refinish. “We believe that the REVO technology is the safest, fastest way to cure filler and coatings in order to improve both paint shop efficiency and quality.”
