Trois-Rivières, Quebec — Progi, a software services company specialized in the automotive field, will be launching its Capacity Month for a fourth consecutive year.
According to a press release made by Progi, Capacity Month is a time of year to remember how essential well-managed operations are to healthy collision shops.
Progi outlined how November was chosen because it is a crucial moment before peak collision repair season.
On the agenda this year, the company is launching a training cohort in its continuous improvement collision shop program—which the company reveals is nearly fully booked.
New content this year will include company experts, such as Patrick Demers, key accounts manager, who will discuss topics related to optimizing the capacity of collision centres. Among these topics, discussion will also include high-season adjustments to maintain optimal capacity, thoughts on the current workload in the industry and how to address it, and attitudes that promote innovation and continuous improvement.
In anticipation of these events, Demers notes: “there is a lot of work in the market right now. That’s exactly why it’s important to shine now, to take advantage of this exceptionally high demand period. The key for collision shops is to set up good operations now, and to ensure prosperity that will last. Capacity Month addresses exactly this kind of issue for collision shops”.
