Newport Beach, California — February 2, 2017 — George Avery is well-known in the collision repair industry for his work representing State Farm to the collision sector, a role he filled starting in 2005. However, Avery retired from the automotive insurance industry in June 2016. That’s part of what makes the upcoming Guild 21 conference call so interesting.
Avery will serve as the guest on the call, speaking on the topic “Direct Repair Programs – Cradle to Grave?” It’s a chance to hear Avery’s uncensored thoughts on a topic of great interest to the collision repair community.
Avery began his career as a technician and painter before joining State Farm as an estimator. He was later promoted to management in the Learning and Development department where he was responsible for developing and delivering the auto estimating curriculum. Avery also served as a resource for media requests and managed the State Farm Repair Facility Advisory Council before his retirement.
The call takes place on February 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. EST. Registration for the call is available at this link.
