Toronto, Ontario — June 14, 2019 — Volvo has just announced that they’re offering free towing services for any of their vehicles that find themselves stuck and in need of some roadside assistance.
Whether it was bought off Kijiji or fresh from the dealership, any U.S. owned Volvo can be towed for free according to a statement made by the Swedish-based company earlier this month.
“Tow for Life ensures that in the event of a breakdown, help is on hand no matter the age of the vehicle,” stated Scott Doering, head of customer service for Volvo Car USA. “This will get the customer back on the road faster and provide assurance that the repair was done right.”
But this isn’t the first time that Volvo has offered a crazy deal for their customers. In 2015, Volvo announced that there was a lifetime warranty on any and all vehicle parts purchased and installed at one of the company’s dealers.
“This best-in-class warranty offers peace of mind to our customers as it covers not only the replacement part, but also the cost to install it,” Carol Kitchen, VP of customer service for Volvo Cars of Canada, stated.
“Volvo Cars continues to focus on our customers’ needs and the implementation of the lifetime warranty is a further illustration of that point.”
Although many deals offered by Volvo extend to all of North America, Volvo has stated they don’t have any plans in motion for bringing the Tow for Life deal over to Canada.
