Toronto, Ontario — March 9, 2017 — Formula Honda held its second annual Ladies Night Out in celebration of International Women’s Day. The company organizes the event to bring together members of the public to celebrate and recognize the achievements of women in the community. The event also raised funds for the Scarborough Hospital foundation – Birchmount Campus. Formula Honda pledged in advance to match the monetary contributions raised.
The event includes booths and vendors of local businesses showcasing their products and services, female entrepreneurs and lots of food and beverages. Each of the booths was run by business owners and employees who joined Formula Honda in celebrating equality. Many of the local businesses who attended also donated prizes, which were awarded throughout the night to raffle winners. The biggest prize was a four-night stay in Jamaica, thanks to a generous donation by The Travel Kiosk.
Formula Honda also brought in a number of inspirational guest speakers, including Bobbie Herron, Director of ZMOT Auto, an automotive dealer digital marketing solutions company. Herron discussed her career and how she found success in a primarily male-dominated industry. It was the right message for the right crowd, judging by the audience’s reaction.
The evening also included a special performance by Divinity Dance School. You can check out a video from the event in the player below, and make sure to check out the gallery for more photos from the event!
