Windsor, Ontario – December 15, 2015 — Formula First Collision has recently achieved factory accreditation and is now one of the few Audi Certified Collision Repair Centers located in Canada, and the first in the Windsor Essex County area.

“Formula First Collision is a family owned business that’s built on reputation,” says Franco Gobbato, Vice President of Formula First Collision. The facility is owned by Frank Gobbato. “We use the proper repair procedures mandated by Audi Canada. Using these strict repair procedures, superior equipment, OEM certified Audi parts and in-depth training helps ensure that we provide the level of experience that Audi customers expect.”

Formula First Collision is well-known in the community and the industry for providing an experience that’s a little bit different from many collision repair facilities. . The luxurious facility itself looks more like a high-end European showroom than it does a body shop. Outside, the fully landscape grounds are covered with lush flowers beds, and in the back a solid wood gazebo overlooks Little River Ravine.

“We’ve got over 70 years and three generations of experience in collision repair,” says Franco. “The facility itself is certainly eye-catching, but to me it’s our investment in equipment, continuous growth, strict employee qualifications and exceptional customer service that sets us apart.”

Owner Frank Gobbato is continually pushing the envelope. With a state-of-the-art aluminum repair room and world class European Car Bench—the only one certified for Ferrari and Lamborghini—as well as Celette dedicated unibody repairing frame equipment, it is safe to say Formula First Collision is on the forefront of technological advances in collision repair.

“Furthermore, all our technicians are trained by and certified through highly respected, well recognized bodies,” says Frank. “As recently as last summer, two technicians spent two weeks in Italy for courses on exotic vehicle repairs.”

A dedicated in-house training room is also used to conduct regular training seminars which demonstrate the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and positive growth.
