Toronto, Ontario — Canadian collision repair revolutionary Sam Mercanti has written a memoir—and it’s now available on Amazon Canada.
RISEN From the Shop Floor: Lessons from an Entrepreneur tells Mercanti’s awe-inspiring success story of how a young Italian kid who came to Canada with nothing, had a tough go, dropped out of high school, and worked in his family’s bodyshop sweeping floors went on to revolutionize the car collision industry in Canada.
All proceeds from the book will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
“Mercanti’s amazing journey will also benefit anyone in the automotive industry looking to learn, and any entrepreneur hungry for lessons on how to stand out in their marketplace, persevere through challenging times and continually find the courage to evolve,” promises the memoir’s description.
Collision Repair mag editor Allison Rogers was lucky enough to get her hands on an advanced copy, courtesy of Mercanti and his publishing team.
“Sam’s story is incredibly inspirational,” she said of the book. “The topics covered are not only incredibly relevant to anyone in the collision repair industry, but anyone with a thirst for knowledge or even the slightest interest in how a family business can be transformed into a force that transforms an entire industry.”
