Toronto, Ontario – May 21, 2019 — Canadian collision repair technology company, Flat Line Spraybooth and FL Mechanical entered a new partnership with Italy’s Greentech Dryers.
“Flat Line is very excited to add a product like Greentech. I feel that it adds versatility to our already high-production product line,” said president of Flat Line Spraybooth and FL Mechanical Matt Gibson.
The Italian-designed gas-dryers are robotic and meant to improve production time. More importantly, they can be retrofitted to an already existing space.
According to Greentech dryer and Blowtherm product manager Phil Zylstra, these dryers emit medium wave infrared energy, which creates a fast and uniform drying process while avoiding solvent popping on clear coats, and an even drying cycle on basecoats and primers. Plastic panels and mouldings are not affected by the heat emitted from Greentech’s products, which saves time on the R&I process.
“Our partnership with Greentech allows us to create a versatile production line process with our side loading Blowtherm Spray booths. We can offer a full arch solution in the paint booth as well as a full arch robot in the prep area. This full-arch prep area solution is unique to Greentech, allowing us to give our customers drying capabilities in up to three prep stalls with one robot that can dry multiple sides of a vehicle in one pass,” said Zylstra.
