Toronto, Ontario – Fix Network World has shared more details surrounding their big move into the U.S. market with the ProColor Collision brand leading the way.
“We’re already in discussions with prospective franchisees that are interested in converting to a ProColor Collision centre,” said Steve Leal, CEO of Fix Network World (a.k.a. Mondofix Inc.).
Fix Network World is the franchisor to hundreds of collision repair centres worldwide, including Fix Network Canada. Leal and his company acquired ProColor Collision in 2019 as part of a 172-shop franchise deal with Uni-Select.
Fix Network World announced on Tuesday which U.S. states the brand would be first launched in; California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
“We see tremendous growth opportunities in these states, which have an active aftermarket services industry,” Leal said in a statement Wednesday. “We also have established relationships in these markets through our NOVUS Glass franchise network and see the potential to expand our presence further.”
Leal’s press release also made a point of mentioning the states that will not see ProColor Collision for the foreseeable future with an explanation for the decision. Those states include Hawaii, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
“The franchise disclosure laws and regulations vary across the different states. Some states, such as the ones listed in our press release, require advance registration of a franchise before selling a business opportunity to residents of those states. When you are not registered in those states, you are required by law to put that legend on the franchise portion of anything that could be considered marketing materials. We might explore franchise disclosure filings in these states in the future, but they are not part of our immediate growth plans.”
