Parksville, British Columbia — July 25, 2016 — Fix Auto Parksville has relocated. The facility, located in Parksville, British Columbia, made the move from its former location on Industrial Way to a higher-traffic area at nearby 531 Stanford Ave.
“It’s like an auto mall,” said owner Vic Andrushko in a recent interview with Collision Repair magazine. “We’re surrounded by dealerships and other automotive businesses.”
The new facility is really just a few blocks from the old one, but Andrushko says the area sees a lot more passing traffic.
“It’s better for our customers as well,” he said. “We were really just a couple of blocks away before, but people would tell us we were out in the boonies. The new location is easier for them to access.”
In addition to the move, Fix Auto Parksville removed “Crashpad” from the facility’s name to fully embrace the brand. The shop is also in the process of upgrading its equipment and administrative process.
“I believe that the future is about being part of a larger group. We chose Fix Auto because they are the best,” Andrushko said.
Andrushko has over 40 years of expertise in the collision repair industry. “I have done every aspect of the job, from cleaning and painting cars, to becoming an owner,” he said.
Andrushko and his team are currently working towards I-CAR Gold Class status.
