Ottawa, Ontario — November 20, 2016 — AIA Canada has announced Fix Auto North Bay is the first collision repair shop in Canada to be recognized under the new Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP).
“Store manager Kelly Roberts was a tremendous force behind their’s being one of the first full I-CAR Gold Class shops in Canada and I see accreditation as a natural progression for the shop and its staff,” says Program Director Andrew Shepherd.
In October 2016, Fix Auto Canada President and CEO Steve Leal and AIA Canada President Jean-François Champagne announced Fix Auto’s corporate commitment to the new Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP).
“Once the program was officially announced, we were eager to begin the process,” says Roberts. “We are extremely proud of the quality of work in the shop and the team holds itself to a pretty high standard. Having an accreditation from a Canadian program for Canadian businesses just adds more value and reassures clients to the quality of the work we do here. ”
CCIAP accreditation requires a shop site to successfully demonstrate compliance with accreditation standards covering core business operations, equipment and training. The process from start to accreditation can take as little as a few weeks. Once audited, the accreditation is good for one year.
