Montreal, Quebec — October 13, 2016 — Fix Auto Centre-Ville is officially open for business. Carlos Salsa, the facility’s owner, and his team celebrated the official grand opening with an evening cocktail event.
This is the third Fix Auto location for Salsa. His first Fix Auto facility—Fix Auto Verdun—opened in 1992. The new shop, Fix Auto Centre-Ville, is located near the Griffintown area of Montreal. The new facility is located in a former locomotive repair station.
Fix Auto Centre-Ville is 25,000 sq. ft. in size and will serve as a central repair shop for three satellite centres where customers drop off their vehicles. The facility is built to handle a large repair volume, with three spray booths and full aluminum body repair capabilities.
A number of local personalities were on hand for the official launch event, including Marguerite-Bourgeoys Deputy Robert Poëti, actor Paul Doucet and Michel Gaudette, President of the 2016-2017 Montreal Auto Show. All three spoke to the group of over 200 attendees, recognize the hard work of Salsa and his team. They were accompanied by Fix Auto franchisees and employees, insurance partners and suppliers who came together to celebrate the inauguration of the new facility.
