Toronto, Ontario — Honda has issued a recall for roughly 10,500 vehicles in Canada due to a problem with the fuel pump that could cause the engine to shut off in traffic.
Models affected include: 2018 and 2019 model year Honda Accord, Civic and HR-V; and Acura NSX, as well as 2019 model year Honda Fit and Insight cars; and Acura RLX Hybrid and RDX SUVs.
Although no accidents have yet to be reported over the fault, Honda is recalling 136,000 models in the U.S. and 1.4 million globally.
Honda will begin replacing defective fuel pumps in July.
