Toronto, Ontario — Toyota Canada continues to be recognized as a brand trusted by Canadian fleet operators, as the automaker recently picked up four 2020 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada Awards.
Winners were identified by determining the vehicles in each segment that had the lowest fleet lifecycle cost.
“Quality, reliability and durability continue to represent the core strengths of our vehicles,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Toyota Canada. “We are proud to be regularly recognized by Vincentric as having the vehicles that deliver the best value to Canadian fleets.”
This year’s winners included:
- 2020 Toyota Corolla S – Best Fleet Value in Canada: Compact Hatchback segment (second consecutive year)
- 2020 Toyota Avalon XSE – Best Fleet Value in Canada: Large Sedan segment
- 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid Base – Best Fleet Value in Canada: Hybrid segment
- 2020 Toyota Prius Prime Base – Best Fleet Value in Canada: Electric/Plug-In Hybrid segment (second time)
To determine the 2020 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada awards, Vincentric analyzed more than 2,400 vehicle configurations in 24 different lifecycle cost scenarios, using eight cost factors including depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. The lifecycle costs were measured in all ten provinces, with the results then reviewed to determine the winning vehicles.
