Fanshawe College has announced it will hold a series of information sessions regarding its Auto Body and Collision Damage Repair/Painting Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program.
The program itself starts July 2, 2015 at the London Campus of Fanshawe College. The program is full-time and lasts for 39 weeks. During the program, the students will cover Level 1 apprenticeship courses, trades readiness and value-added skills training, academic upgrading, job search techniques, and eight weeks of on-the-job training with area employers.
The program is free to qualified applicants, but spaces are limited.
To apply, students must possess an Ontario Grade 12 or equivalent, be eligible to work in Ontario, and must have advanced English language skills (if English is not the student’s first language. Students will also require problem-solving abilities, a strong work ethic, a reliable, can-do attitude, and a desire to succeed in the transportation services industry.
The information sessions will be head at Fanshawe College’s School of Transportation Technology in room Z1024. The school is located at 1764 Oxford Street East at Third Street in London.
Information sessions will be held on the following dates and times:
– Wednesday, March 25 7 p.m.
– Friday, March 27 10 a.m.
– Saturday, March 28 10 a.m.
– Wednesday, April 22 7 p.m.
– Friday, April 24 10 a.m.
– Saturday, April 25 10 a.m.
Students are asked to please bring a copy of their resume. Applications for the program will be accepted at the information sessions.
