Hamilton, Ontario — Electric vehicle manufacturer, Tesla, is opening a 60,000 square foot service centre in Hamilton, Ont., that promises to provide customers services like “software updates, paintless bolt-on panel replacement and/or dent removal,” and more.
According to a letter obtained by Drive Tesla Canada, this location is planned to open at the CF Lime Ridge Mall in Hamilton, but is currently awaiting final approval from Cadillac Fairview and a minor variance permit that would allow Tesla to display vehicles in a motor showroom.
If approved, Tesla’s Hamilton Sales and Service Center will be open seven days a week and become the second service centre for Teslas in Ontario.
At the time of writing, the minor variance permit will be considered by the City of Hamilton at the Committee of Adjustment meeting on Thursday.
