Toronto, Ontario — Cox Automotive has been named one of top employers in Toronto after being judged during Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2020’s competition evaluation process.
Now in its 14th year, the competition announced Cox as one of its 2020 winners on Dec. 6. All chosen companies needed to demonstrate best practices in the competition’s eight categories: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial & family benefits; vacation & time off; employee communications; performance management; training & skills development; and community involvement.

The Atlanta, GA-based auto repair technology firm is most well-known for its developments on PAVE—an AI vehicle inspection software and MUVIT—the company’s dealer-to-dealer digital auction platform. According to the competition’s site posting for Cox Automotive, the company met the requirements for a top Toronto employer for a slew of reasons, including its five weeks of starting vacation allowance and flexible work options, profit-sharing and year-end bonuses, and providing maternity leave top-up payments for employees who are new mothers.
