The new Dupli-Color Custom Wrap Metallic Series includes Matte Black Metallic, Matte Aluminum, Matte Blue Metallic and Matte Gold.
The formulation is a spray-on, peel-off removable paint. According to Dupli-Color, it allows you to customize the look and feel of an entire vehicle. Adding a racing stripe or modifying the wheels can be done in just a few steps.
According to the company, Custom Wrap resists the wear and tear of daily driving including rain, snow and UV exposure. Custom Wrap works on original factory painted finishes, aluminum, metal, chrome, and plastic on entire vehicles, accents, wheels and more. The formula features Dupli-Color’s trademarked EZ Peel technology, allowing the new coating to be removed easily after the recommended six months of initial application. Custom Wrap dries to the touch in 30 minutes.
The new metallics are currently available in spray cans. Dupli-Color also produces some parts of the Custom Wrap line in bulk sprayable form, suitable for covering entire vehicles in a refinish setting.
